• Pre-Layoff services 
  • If your members have received layoff notices, we can help them to prepare and connect with resources.
  • For larger layoffs we will coordinate with state and local partners to conduct workshops to inform workers of available services, resources, and who to contact with questions about everything from COBRA to unemployment insurance.
• Employment and training services for laid off members
  • We can provide job search assistance, training, supportive services and partner referrals in a variety of industries to members who have experienced a layoff and are seeking new employment.

• Training Grants
  • Technical assistance is available to unions to help them identify available workforce programs and training grants that they could utilize both in house and with member employers.

Registered Apprenticeship programs are eligible for a variety of training grants that provide reimbursements to unions and employers for classroom and On The Job training costs.
